I am Lotus, a.k.a. Sherry. My name change came about after a profound spiritual experience in 2006. I understood myself and my purpose in a whole new way. My new identity is far better reflected in my new name, Lotus, so I have adopted it completely. In no way is my name change meant as disrespect for my family or the name my family gave me at birth. It is merely an expression of how God has brought me to where I am as a person today. My husband and I married in 1981. We are in exciting times, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and our son getting his first job in Washington, D.C. after finishing his college degree. What an adventure!
